Group exhibition, « Sazae-Oni» ArtZone42, 17 January-2 February 2019

Sazae-oni are mythological creatures of the Japanese folk tradition. They have the form of shells and those who live in the sea for more than thirty years. They are transformed into female demons that mislead men. According to the most popular myth a group of pirates once saved a woman who after her drowning in the sea had been transformed into Sazae-oni.
